WHMPress Helper

WHMPress Helper is a WHMCS add-on module that extends the functionality of the standard WHMCS API, enabling seamless communication between WHMCS and WordPress. It acts as a bridge that powers advanced integration features used by the WHMPress All plugins.

By working alongside the official WHMCS API, the WHMPress Helper provides the additional functionality required to deliver a smoother, faster, and more integrated user experience. It also includes automatic client redirection, allowing users who access your WHMCS installation directly (such as through email links) to be redirected to the corresponding pages on your WordPress website, ensuring a consistent browsing experience.

Installation

Follow the steps below to install and activate the WHMPress Helper module:

  1. Download the whmpress-helper.zip package from your WHMCS Client Area.
  2. Extract the ZIP archive on your computer.
  3. Upload the extracted whmpress folder to the following directory in your WHMCS installation: 
    /modules/addons/
  4. Log in to your WHMCS Admin Area.
  5. Navigate to:

    System Settings → Addon Modules

  6. Locate WHMPress Helper in the list and click Activate.
  7. Once activated, click Configure to access the module settings.

Configuration

After activating the module, navigate to:

WHMCS Admin Area → System Settings → Addon Modules → WHMPress Helper → Configure

The helper module requires only a minimal configuration.

  • WordPress Client Area URL
    Enter the URL of the page on your WordPress website where the WHMCS Client Area (WCAP) is installed. This allows users accessing WHMCS directly to be redirected to the appropriate WordPress client area page.
  • Authentication & Integration Settings
    All remaining configuration settings are automatically managed by the WHMPress plugins once the connection between WordPress and WHMCS has been established. No additional manual configuration is required.

Important:
If you encounter a blank page in the WHMCS Admin Area after uploading the module files via FTP, the files may have been uploaded in ASCII mode instead of Binary mode. Re-upload the module using Binary transfer mode to ensure all files are transferred correctly.
